We built and ran the full ecommerce engine for No Secrets, an FMCG hydration brand: brand messaging, a Shopify storefront, product and ad creative, performance marketing, and day-to-day ecommerce operations.
No Secrets had a product people could buy on quick-commerce apps, but it didn’t have a store of its own. Every sale went through someone else’s shelf, and the brand had no direct line to customers across the country. The brief was to change that, and to make the new channel actually sell, not just go live.
The client
No Secrets is a Mumbai FMCG brand in the hydration and OTC electrolyte category, selling across India. When the engagement started, the brand only had a presence on quick commerce.
The challenge
- Presence limited to quick commerce. The platforms owned the reach, the customer relationship, and the data.
- No owned ecommerce stack that worked across the country. There was no storefront, no brand identity built for ecommerce, no creative library for ads, and no operations pipeline to take an order from ad click to delivered parcel.
- Several problems at once. Launching meant fixing the message, the store, the creative, the traffic, and the operations together. A website on its own wouldn’t have moved sales.
The solution
TechyXen ran the launch end to end, then stayed on to operate the channel.
Brand and storefront
- Messaging and ecommerce identity: how the brand presents and speaks online.
- Website and store launch: a full Shopify storefront that takes orders from anywhere in India.
Creative
- Product, video, and ad shoots, so the store and the campaigns had their own creative from day one.
Growth and operations (monthly retainers)
- Performance marketing.
- Ecommerce management across the whole loop: ads → sales → fulfilment → delivery coordination → reporting.
- Customer support, stakeholder management, and POS sales support.
Because one team owned the whole path, the store, stock, and delivery were ready whenever an ad started working. When something broke, nobody had to chase three different vendors.
The outcome
- Launch day: ₹0 in online sales. A true zero start.
- First 14 days (July): ~₹10k in online sales.
- By month 2: ~₹5L+ in MRP-equivalent sales.
- By month 3: ~₹10L a month in online sales.
- High-performing ads delivered 2x+ by the second month.
- An owned pan-India D2C channel, with ads, store, fulfilment, and reporting running as one loop.
Figures as reported by TechyXen and client operations. Sales ran under launch promotions of about 40% off. The month-2 MRP-equivalent figure is back-calculated from net sales (net ÷ 0.6, assuming a flat 40% across the product mix) and has not been audited.
Building a D2C channel from zero?
If your brand only lives on marketplaces or quick-commerce apps, the hard part isn’t the website. It’s getting message, store, creative, ads, and fulfilment to work together. We build and run that full stack.
